We had a celebratory lunch on the Colonial Tramcar Restaurant today. We were welcomed by Lucy our waiter who introduced Wes, the chef and Carl, our drink waiter for the journey. The carriage is decorated in historical livery and our section had two tables for two and two for four. The meal was excellent given the tiny kitchen in which Wes works. Carl and Lucy ensured that our glasses remained full and that we didn't want for anything. They obviously enjoy their work. The two hour journey took us through the city and on to StKilda then back to our starting point through Middle Park.
