“Great food, great service, slightly pricey.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 29, 2013 via mobile

Food was great and very tasty. Service was fantastic. Our wine glasses and water was always topped up. Food arrived quickly, good if you are hungry. We did feel a bit rushed as they were so efficient. Food was also pricey but I guess you pay for the location. Overall, very good.

“Lucky Chan Crown Casino”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 11, 2013

Yum. The food was so good and great service. Reasonably priced. We went for lunch on Sunday was extremely busy but so worth it. Maybe book ahead of time if going there.

“Just gets better”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 7, 2013

We have been going to Lucky Chans for many years now and last week got to experience their new location in the Crown complex. Lucky Chans has always been good value, great service (although a bit fast at times) and great food. The new location has given them a whole new look, new style, new menu and greater value. We had the king prawn in wasabi mayo which was amazing and a crispy skin chicken that was most and full of flavour. Thank you guys a great night, good value and love the new restaurant, we will be back.

“Beautiful Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 15, 2013

The food was fantastic but what impressed us most of all, was the service and knowledge of our waiter. As a Coeliac he provided me with everything I needed to make an informed choice of what I could safely eat and the Chef went so far as to make a soup just for me which was GF. That's service.

“Average Yum Cha”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 15, 2013

Billed as a good Chinese restaurant in Melbourne, we had a business lunch at Lucky Chan recently. The yum cha was the go and it was monotonous and only average. There was not much variety, there were no spring rolls or prawn toast or other fried type dishes, all just steamed dim sum. Fried calamari was way overcooked and as a result very very chewy. Based on the restaurant being within the Crown complex we thought it would be good but were disappointed.
