We've been going to France-Soir on and off over 20 years and it's always a fun night (or lunch) out with a top quality classic French menu, beautifully cooked and presented. There are always a list of "specials" written on the mirrors of this small, lively bistro, including a rabbit dish - which the chef really knows how to cook to perfection. All the great favourites are there, and hold back some space for the desserts - crepes suzette of course, but also isles flottantes, profiteroles, etc, etc. The service is excellent. You'll be greeted in French and you can continue so if you wish, but you won't be thrown out if you speak Anglaise, or even Franglaise! It can get noisy when the champagne starts to flow - and by the way, the wine list is truly huge and very, very good. Enjoy!
