Description: Bluetrain has been "Melbourne's meeting place" for over 20 years, where thousands have passed through their doors and enjoyed a definitively Bluetrain experience. Re-launching in 2013 in a new location with a fresh Aussie fusion menu by new head chef Jay Sinclair and exciting new dining spaces, Bluetrain offers an ideal casual dining location to enjoy a selection of grazing plates, pizzas, pastas, burgers and dishes off the char-grill. The new dedicated bar with its 16 ice cold taps of beer will keep any beer enthusiast satisfied. A huge array of beverages are available ranging from quality spirits, wines and champagnes all meticulously chosen to compliment your dining experience. Skilled bar staff provide a range of traditional cocktails not to mention Bluetrain's original "cityloop" cocktails.

We went with 2 family members who had been before. It is casual dining but the menu has got quite a bit of choice and we all enjoyed our food. Service is good too. They are relocating just upstairs.

Friendly, great for kids, and location in Southbank great. Unfortunately, food very average (except for kids meals). Also wonder about a mainly Italian restaurant that has Nasi Goring on the menu (which was burnt and awful)

Recently my son and his girl visited for dinner. From around 4 hrs after eating they then spent the next 12+ hours being violently ill. I called to speak to someone about this the next day and was told no manager on at the moment but they would call me back in around 2 hrs. No response no follow up and just two sick miserable people. We have eaten here a few times and found it OK, not great. But I will never return and strongly recommend others beware. In the end customer service goes further than the wait staff. Managers need to pull their weight too.

Don't have to book so good to be able to turn up and have a drink at the bar if waiting for friends or a table on a busy night
If you are there early lots of tables great service food ranges from pizzas to fish and chips and great Caesar salads and had fabulous desserts for the sweet tooth
