Description: Bhoj means Indian feast, and that's exactly what awaits you at Bhoj Docklands. Bhoj is a Melbourne institution when it comes to Indian food. Chef Rajesh Mehta has been serving the same highly acclaimed Indian fare for more than 20 years, including more than 12 years at the current Docklands location. Over the years, Bhoj has been the recipient of a myriad of awards and accolades, including many years as the Best Indian Restaurant in Melbourne and a highly coveted Chefs Hat awarded by The Age Good Food Guide. Our philosophy is simple. To serve mouth-watering traditional Indian fare which celebrates the vast ingredients, flavours and authenticity of Indian cuisine, all cooked using high-quality and fresh produce. Our menu also boasts many signature dishes and less-familiar numbers that showcase the diversity and versatility of Indian cooking. Bhoj is positioned right in the heart of the New Quay promenade at Docklands and boasts uninterrupted views of the Melbourne city skyline, Victoria Harbour, Etihad stadium and the Bolte Bridge. Together with our expansive outdoor and indoor seating areas, what better way to indulge in the pleasures of waterfront dining?

We had a very nice meal at Bhoj. We had just arrived into Docklands, Melbourne and were looking for something close by to try. Food was very good and service was timely. We had several vegetarian dishes to choose from and they were all good. We would definitely return.

I dined here the other night and it reminded me why I should only ever order their takeaway. The food tastes fine, nothing magical about any of the tastes. You'll get exactly the same experience out of ordering the garlic naan, beef madras and safron rice takeway in a plastic container as you will eating it there. Bonus of taking it away is the liquor store opposite with Frank and Mars more than happy lead you in to a decent red.

The tandoori chicken is consistent and has been a winner for 10 years. The curries are fine but nothing magical. If you're staying at Docklands it's a great, cheap takeaway. If you're finding somewhere to dine there it would be ok and consistent, but won't ever knock your socks off.

Shame this area is not busier, Had really well cooked Indian food, the flavours were traditional, and the tandoori was good as well. We did have a bit of trouble with communication with the waiter, but overall they were efficient

It was a good experience to dine out here, with lots of curries !! The bar had a good variety of selection. The dockland ambience is itself cherry on the cake. Service was good too with staff wearing authentic indian style uniforms. Overall a well done experience !!
