“9 meals in and best so far”
Reviewed February 8, 2014 via mobile

My husband and I are 9 meals into a weekend away no kids... This was the best so far! Food = awesome! Service = friendly and unpretentious! Price = extremely fair.... Not one thing to complain about... Wish we could take pho & co home to Brisbane :)

“Could only get better!”
Reviewed February 5, 2014

We went to Pho & Co for a quick weekday lunch. In fairness to them they said they'd only been open a couple of weeks. Decor was funky & nice. Staff were young, friendly & helpful. Food was very dissapointing & overpriced! We had 1 cold roll each (small & tasteless) plus a serve of Viet Slaw (too much chilly) & a serve of Lemongrass Chicken (dry & a weird flavour) and it was $38 (no drinks). The flavours were somehow wrong. We've spent quite a bit of time in Vietnam & enjoyed the food over there and were hoping for a great bowl of Pho but the 2 offered on the menu didn't sound appealing. I hope they get better, maybe a new chef would help?

“Early days but has promise”
Reviewed January 31, 2014

We found out after we had eaten it was only their 3rd night they had been open when we dined. We opted outside so it gave some scenery for our son.

Service was pretty good and you could see they were trying to impress. We got our order in and rice paper rolls came pretty quick, they were good. The rest of our order followed a little after but to our surprise the "signature dish" Pho was only half full on stock. This was a 1st for us and we have had many Pho soups. We did ask for more liquid and the waiter did respond with more quickly. I think they would not make this mistake again after us.

Overall can see the makings of a nice little Vietnamese restaurant with a cleaner feel over most Chinatown places.
Good luck

“Still on Training Wheels”
Reviewed January 22, 2014

Unfortunately the wonderful facade of this restaurant was not matched by the quality of service or food. It seemed to take an inordinate amount of time to be provided with menus (after asking), and our food took a long time in arriving. The rice paper rolls were reasonably tasty, if a little dry, but the pho (meat) left my dining partner and myself reluctant to recommend this new restaurant. The prices were not all that attractive either (eg. $8.00 for 330ml sapporo with no local beers available). It was also a but noisy for my personal liking but some people like that noisy atmosphere. They are new and perhaps need a little time in getting the service and food levels improved, but, fellow travellers, I wouldn't recommend wasting a meal by eating here.
