Description: Rice Paper Scissors offers a punchy, share-style menu influenced by traditional South East Asian flavours. Guests will experience bold street food-inspired dining that showcases the very best in local produce. Indulge in our twice-cooked sticky pork belly, smothered in tamarind caramel or perhaps our sashimi grade, cured South Australian kingfish nestled on crisp prawn crackers. Rice Paper Scissors' mouth-watering menu is also partnered with signature cocktails, craft beers, and curated wines. Motivated by the excitable snapping of chopsticks and clinking of glassware. Rice Paper Scissors is a restaurant that prides itself on creating a space for guests to indulge in not only its menu but the company of others.

Rice Paper Scissors is a great place to discover Asian fusion food. Melbourne's laneway cafe's and bars are world renowned and this one is right up there with the best. Atmosphere, great food and excellent range of drinks. We love shared food dining and RPS offers My favourite was the sticky pork belly and the soft shell crab. And the staff were terrific.

Went here while visiting Melbourne because of so many recommendations from friends. I can see why, food was delicious! Modern take on Viet food. It is a little expensive, but worth the experience. Thumbs up!

This place deserves every bit of its high rating, the service is attentive but not overbearing (entertaining if you're in the mood), the food is delicious af, ditto the drinks. The vibe is cool but not too-cool-for-school. Perfect for either groups or solo.

We swung by about 6:50 and added our names to the list. You can’t book for after 5pm. The very charismatic greeter took our details and told us it was about 1:15 wait. She was bang on! Plan for this, and pick a place for a drink near by.

We started with the galloping horses (a cold plate) and it was really tasty. Next we had the soft shell crab, and it was delicious. Our favourite plate of the night.

The lobster dumplings were good. The crispy chicken was a delight! The whisky ribs were very tasty, but the fat to meat ratio was a little high for us.

Watching the cocktail makers at the bar was good entertainment. We were glad we finally made it to this place.
