This is awesome they decorate the park with christmas decorations plus Santa is there and you can take your own photos for free. The best santa you will see anywhere so friendly and takes the best photos. Will be back this year to visit :)

Can't believe its taken this long to review Melbourne !!! We visited Australia from Mid Jan to middle of Feb2013.staying with family members who live outside Melbourne at Paterson Lakes. Our trips in to Melbourne were during the day for one and at night for the other.
We took in the sights at Federation Square with lots happening there including an open air Rock show.Other highlights for us were a visit to Chinatown,The Crown Casino,DeGraves Street with lots of eating places on offer and Flinders Street Railway Station. The night tour was excellent as well ,loads of foto opportunities for some nice nite shots.Melbourne is a very bustling Cosmopolitan City and we all agreed a second visit to Australia is on the cards!!.

Monday was a beautiful day & I had a friend down from Sydney. We had not seen each other for a good while. After visiting the AMCI @ Fed Square we moved to The City Sqaure for a gelato. Brunei's flavours were great.( mango & raseberry ) Maybe it was the sun shine in Autumn or the company but it was just lovely to sit & chat & watch the world go by. Try it .

This is a light, bright airy place, close to the CBD and easy to reach by the tourist tram that circles the CBD all day. Well worth a trip and well placed for other places of interest.

This is an ideal place for people watching in the city, it also offers a great selection of food and drinks including Brunetti's for a coffee, and a take away food outlets and some restaurants surrounding the area.

From time to time City Square hosts events such as fashion parades, live shows, kids events, and also at Christmas time they build Santa's village which you can walk around in.

There is a tram stop adjacent to City Square, while it also being connected to both Collins and Swantson street - making it a great place for a sight seeing or shopping rest.
