Today we was in the Block arcades. It is a special shopping experience and you can find unusual (odd) shops there.

Fabulous to wander around. Has a great atmosphere and lots of cute little shops to explore. Take time to have a good look.

this is a beautiful building worth of a walk through to window shop or to stop and purchase. There is a nice tea house inside that was very crowded. The architecture, flooring and walls are very artistic.

From the mosaic floors to skylight architecture The Block Arcade is a must visit when in Melbourne.
There is a good assortment of stores including eateries, giftwares, fashion and even a Dr Seuss gallery.
We loved walking around this arcade looking at the shops, there wasn't much hussle and bussle - like you get outside walking through the cbd area.
Was lovely and relaxing.

Nice to see one of the original arcades in all its glory. But unless your shopping or planning to eat, this is just a 5 minute stop for pictures. Other laneways and arcades have better atmosphere for sitting down to coffee, drinks or food as you while away the day.
