I wish we had an arcade like this where I live - the architecture of this arcade was wonderful.

We visited the Block Arcade 3 times while in Melbourne for a fortnight. The Hopetoun Tearooms were wonderful - I do recommend their iced coffee and the strawberry sponge cake. Enjoyed browsing the kitchen spice shop opposite too, as well as the chocolate shop.

Classic arcade that really feels like going 100 years back in time. Very nice mosaic floors, I heard that the ceramic that was used here was imported from Italy. The shops are very "chique" and fancy, I was drooling over the display of cakes at the tea room (see picture!).

A great place to browse, shop or just have a cup of coffee and a treat. The many bakeries and cafes have lots of delicious baked goods.

Quaint arcade with beautiful decor and architecture. Filled with lots of interesting little shops. It is lovely to wander through here and just look up at the ceiling, and admire the beautiful architechture of the entire arcade.
