“Very quaint”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

This little arcade is nice to walk down. It is very narrow and can be busy during lunchtime however it's worth a little diversion.

Beautifully restored, one of Melbourne's best arcades, lovely little cafes, some quirky shops, quiet & unhurried.

“Hidden history”

We took a Melbourne walking tour and discovered a side of Melbourne we had not been aware of before with the Block Arcade being one of the highlights. We now have a new and different perspective of Melbourne!

“A pretty piece of history with great shopping”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

This quaint arcade in the heart of the shopping mall is pure history of Melbourne's architecture. Something that is all too quickly eroding from this beautiful city. The arcade is filled with a range of stores, from cafes, jewellery, bags and clothes. It is well worth the visit for its architecture alone.
