This quaint arcade in the heart of the shopping mall is pure history of Melbourne's architecture. Something that is all too quickly eroding from this beautiful city. The arcade is filled with a range of stores, from cafes, jewellery, bags and clothes. It is well worth the visit for its architecture alone.

This is a must see for those who would love to get to know a bit of Melbourne's shopping history. Beautiful architecture in this historical arcade. Great shopping and food too.

The history behind the architecture and the materials used to build the Block is an eye opener. Worth a visit.

Reminder of how elegant shopping used to be. Go for the incredible floor mosaics and be certain to look up as well.

An interesting piece of Victorian Architecture with expensive stores in it. Nice but nothing like as interesting as many of the laneways in Melbourne.
