True boutique shopping! Even just a must visit simply to see this beautiful arcade. We visited on our own but also visiting this arcade was part of a tour we done ... The history of the arcade was fascinating too.
Visiting the Hopetoun Tea Rooms in the arcade is a must .... Simply Devine!!

“The cakes, the chocolates, worth a visit or two”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 3, 2012

We could not get enough of the Block Arcade. The architecture made it feel like we were stepping back in time and every window had something of interest. A must is a visit to the Hopetoun Tearooms to indulge your tastebuds, but don't forget to choose from the large array in the window before you sit down. It is a hard choice. Also Haighs chocolate shop with a huge selection that will make your mouth water. Loved it.

It's like stepping back in time and finding yourself lost in all the little shops. A must for any visitor to Melbourne.

“Been here a million times and STILL find myself back”

I love the atmosphere, the original mosaic tiled floors and the beautiful boutique stores, but above all the gorgeous cafe's in the small side arcade (within the Block Arc). Great food - awesome atmosphere!

“Pretty but boring”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 3, 2012

Although it's quite beautiful, it's also a boring arcade full of old shop fronts selling expensive wares. Good for a look but I wouldn't call it an 'attraction'
