We had a great tour with Sam our private guide. He has a lot of interesting information about the history of this part of Australia as well as nice stories about Australian life incl. the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Although our helicopter flight back must be canceled, he drove us safely the long way home. Excellent day!

We had the pleasure of exploring The Great Ocean Road one day and then touring Melbourne the next with Bianca. What an absolutely amazing tour she created for us! She is incredibly knowledgeable of the area and answered our endlessly questions with ease. She knew a couple secret spots to make the tours memorable (koalas and a cool train bar). It was more like traveling with a good friend than a tour guide. Would love to work with her again one day...highly recommend!

We were so lucky to have Josh for both a tour of Philip Island & a drive along the Great Ocean Road!! After a couple of weeks touring other places in Australia, Josh was the first guide who knew exactly the right areas to show our family wallabies, kangaroos, and koalas (among others!) We had seen these wonderful animals in the Sydney Zoo as well as some wildlife parks, but not actually in the wild! This was definitely a bucket list item for us, especially because tragically we couldn’t visit Kangaroo Island.

Not only was Josh incredibly personable during the tour, but also he went above and beyond giving us thoughtful & thorough recommendations for the days we were there (sadly) without him. He was able to connect with us about so many other topics during the ride and we now consider him a friend.

Josh was the essence of what you expect from a tour from a local - he grew up in the area, and had so much interesting insight for everything we were seeing on the long drives to both destinations. We learned far more than we could have if we adventured to these areas ourselves and we would have never known to stop off at beaches, restaurants, and roadsides to get the most out of the experience.

As a family who has used guides all over the world for many years, Josh was truly a world class guide and we couldn’t have asked for better! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! :)

Had a lovely day out with our guide Andreas, who was very knowledgeable and so easy to get on with. First he drove us to the centre of Melbourne and walked us around all the interesting parts before then driving us to the northern suburbs where we had a good coffee. From there we went to the Mornington peninsula where we had a fabulous lunch at Quattro, a winery with lovely view from the terrace. From there we went for wine tasting and then chocolate tasting before ending up at Arthur’s Seat to enjoy the view. What a perfect day out.

So much fun experiencing the Great Ocean Road with Tess Eloise Johnson! It was a real sense of adventure as we trekked to the waterfall, great cliff views and seashore towns! Lovely snacks and lunch in local haunts. Memorable day!
