On our first visit, we (me and a friend), decided to have Moroccan based on the menu at the doorway. It's a steep climb up the stairs, but the food and service (thanks, Mohammed) were great. We had individual lamb tagines and an Egyptian salad to share, and we were finally tempted by a tasting plate of yummy baklava, turkish delight, green nutty fairy floss and a chocolate cream cookie thingy!
We told our colleagues the next day how good the Sahara was and they were keen to eat there following our meeting. Again, the food was lovely and we were spoilt with the service. Towards the end of our meal, the owner?manager? invited us all to have drinks on the new rooftop bar (which we didn't know was there!). We were treated with free champagne, and loved the ambience on a warm summer night.
What's not to like?
Well done, Sahara!
