Melbourne has been in the throws of a Chinese dumpling eaterie craze for a couple of years now. This restaurant is approaching the high end of the standard with home made dumplings and a range of good quality noodle dishes. Not a place for a low carb diet. The xiao long bao were very good with a good refined skin and a pleasing amount of juice trapped within, A good range of plan fried dumplings are available including a few not so commonly available. Prices are competitive. Arguably Hu Tong Restaurant is somewhat better, but I think it is a compliment to the staff that this restaurant can even be discussed in the same breath. A great eat on King Street.
