We were looking for a quick meal and thought this would be because it didn't look like a fancy restaurant (no table cloths). Unfortunately whilst the table attendants were reasonably attentive, the kitchen was a bit slower than expected, especially as there were only four tables.
That said, we had the Thai green chicken curry, pork and cashew stir fry and seafood flat noodles. (Sorry I'm not good at the Thai names.) The absolute best thing about Ginger Leaf is that all the food was authentic. It was not the usual 'Australianised' (ie overly sweetened) Thai food. This was good food, well balanced flavours and the stir fry dishes had that 'char' flavour about them. Wonderful. (If not for the slightly slow kitchen service, it would have been 5 stars from us.)
