This place is wonderful! Great food! Nice wines! Friendly and welcoming atmosphere! Attentive service! We've been here three times and will return!

The menu is limited but has something for everyone. Mains include a veggie, a fish, a beef and a pork selection. Starters and desserts have more options. Everything is fresh and the flavor combinations are terrific. Presentations are artful. Starters and sides are big enough for two to share, but save room for dessert because they are stunning and you won't want to share!

Four of us ate here tonight. We shared the calamari appetizer. Two of us had the fillet and two had the fish. The steaks were prepared as ordered, tender and blended beautifully with the gorgonzola polenta and bearnaise. The fish was tasty, perfectly cooked and served with creamy potatoes and topped with tzatziki -- what a great combination! Yes, we all had a dessert -- strawberries with yoghurt cheese, brownie with ice cream and floss, pancakes with cream and fruit -- all yummy and beautifully presented! And the cheese platter was generous. (Try the blue!)

Service was attentive and professional. Friendly from the moment we walked in the door.

Keep this place at the top of your go-to list! Not to be missed!

A business colleague and myself dinned here this evening. Wonderful wines and the quality of the food was amazing. Attention to detail, subtle flavours and interesting combinations. Their speciality is deserts but this is not to take away from the amazing mains. Steak was perfect, calamari to die for. Don't miss the experience

Went last night on the recommendation from a friend. Got the tram (no, 96) from the city and it virtually drops you at the front door. Easy when having a few more drinks. Menu is small but everything is made to order from your individual selection. Similarly the wine/beer list is well chosen. Go with a group of friends and share a selection of entrees before you have your individual mains. Servings are generous so make sure you leave room for the beautiful deserts. Service is efficient and fun. We will be back with a group before Christmas!

This is a stunning, friendly restaurant to experience at night. The menu is limited - on purpose - so that the quality remains very high. The wait staff are attentive with excellent suggestions for food and wine to match. The flavours of the food are wonderful. Melbourne people should go regularly and visitors must go there to experience the depth of food culture in this city. We could hear ourselves talk, and the ambience was friendly, unpretentious and yet the food was of the highest standard.

Friends from Perth recommended we pay Bramble and Vine a visit while we were staying in Melbourne and we were not disappointed. From making the booking to dining there was a wonderful experience of friendly passionate owners and great food. Leila is a superb host, recommending and describing both wine and food in much detail. She really made you feel welcome to their smallish intimate restaurant. The wines served matched each course very well. Entrees included arancini balls and salt and pepper calamari (sliced NOT in rings - superbly cooked). Mains - fish of the day with salsa verde and mash and braised red wine veal meatballs with soft polenta and provolone. Leila suggested no additional sides to leave room for dessert and/or cheese and that was good advice! We completed the meal with the cheeseboard which was very well presented as was all the food. The addition of the pear puree, strawberry salad, honeyed walnuts and home-made lavosh and bread to the three great cheeses made this a fine finish to a most memorable meal. The restaurant is definitely one to be recommended.
