Stayed last week on a business trip, wouldn't stay alone again. As convenient as it is to the train station, I didn't feel safe as a lone female walking back to the hotel. The room was comfortable, a good size but there was a humming noise. I wasn't sure if this was the bathroom fan constantly running or an outside heating unit. I don't feel the cold, would probably only use my electric blanket twice a year at home. I was freezing when I return to the hotel late and went to put the blanket on to warm up, no electric blanket! I don't think I have ever stayed at a Melbourne hotel without one before.
I think it may be a smoking hotel, I stayed on the 3rd floor and the area outside the lift stunk of cigarette smoke. Would stay with Hubby again over summer, he would freeze in winter without an electric blanket. Wouldn't return alone.
