We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment for 4 nights, and it was a great alternative to a hotel. Nice to have your own space and privacy, living in an actual apartment, rather than just a room or suite. Main living area was great, nicely furnished and spacious. Large windows which looked out over the harbour area, made the place nice and bright. No curtains though, which was lovely during the day, to look at the view, but a bit weird at night time when you feel everyone can see in! Second and third bedrooms were quite small, but fine for 1 person.
We had a courtyard area (6th floor) rather than a balcony, which was great to sit outside and enjoy a drink. Not as good a view as the upper floors though.
Location is quiet, but the city circle tram stops right outside, so its easy enough to get into town, and would be an excellent location for Etihad Stadium.

My husband and I stayed in the apartment for two nights. It was so close to Ethiad stadium, and the circle tram stopped just outside the front door.
I agree with some of the other reviews that the room decor could do with some attention. But if you can live with a chipped plate and some marks on the wall then you can't beat the value.

The rooms are very large with separate lounge, study and bedroom. The kitchen has a toaster, kettle, full fridge and there's also a dryer and washer.

In Docklands there's a huge variety of places to eat and a large shopping centre nearby.

My only real complaint is the lack of a blind over a particular window - sun streaming into the room at 6am was a little draining. There's also a new apartment complex being built next door but the doors keep most of the noise out.

If we were going to see something at Ethiad again we would definitely stay again.

We booked a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom deluxe apartment for 5 nights in November. The room was clean and comfortable, nice views over the water. Location was good, fairly quiet but walking distance to train and tram stops very close by.
Would stay here again in future.

Room Tip: Deluxe room was very nice, thick carpets, comfortable beds and nice bathrooms.

Having stayed at Newquay before we knew what to expect with regards to location but were very happy with the apartment. arrived early and had some challenges with finding the office but called and Josh met us and directed us to the car park w here we left the car until the apartment was ready.

Apartment very well presented and clean. Had everything you could ask for.
Only downside was on returning late one night had someone parked in our carspot which ended up with me parking in the public carpark opposite.was all remedied quickly the next day after talking to the owners but maybe suggest having the available carspots available for the after hours people as it was a pain at 10.30pm!
Would definately use again.

We stayed 5 nights overlooking the Harbour and City - very pretty at night. On checking in the Staff / Michelle was really helpful and friendly. We left our bags and returned later as our Apartment wasn't quite ready, which was fine. Michelle took us over the the Apartment later which was really helpful.

On entering the Apartment it was noted the Fresh Clean smell - sorry but it was terribly over powering - Exit Mould smell that got stronger the longer we were there. Finally disappeared after we opened lots of doors and windows.

The Apartment was well furnished and comfortable - our bed was very comfie. Lovely and spacious.

We did note after the Exit Mould smell bought to our attention that the apartment wasn't really that clean - nor the out door balcony with potato chips left in a dish of some sort and a paint brush! The main ensuite also had make-up foundation finger prints all over the door - which did not look very appealing. Sorry but once you eye is drawn to this sort of thing you then notice that the floors and edges, shirting boards were really dusty and hair all round the edges of the ensuite. It didn't seem that clean after all! Dirty black finger prints on walls etc isn't welcoming.
This apartment just seemed to of had a very tired look to it and the cost did suggest better.

The Kitchen was well equipped for utensils. Not tidy but everything there. Finding plates and bowls stacked away in the cupboard wet when we went to use them didn't seem very good either.

The location was great with good variety of Trams running right outside. Taxi's also right there.

Good to have the washing machine and dryer available and complimentary washing powder.

If we can suggest complimentary ground coffee for a plunger might be a nice touch. Especially as this is normally standard in other accommodation places.

Would we go back - yes to give a 2nd try - but we wouldn't want to stay in that apartment.

Thank you.

Room Tip: Lovely Sunny situation LHS on 8th Floor lovely and quiet.

Hello Lynda D124,
Thank you for your feedback, we are glad you enjoyed the location of our apartments and we appreciate your time in bringing your concerns to our attention on Trip Advisor. It is disappointing to hear of the bleach smells and general cleanliness of your apartment. What this confirms for us is that we have made the right decision in changing the cleaners we use for our apartments, the new cleaning company is now in place to keep our apartments up to highest quality of cleanliness. Your comments about providing ground coffee for the plungers is a good idea. We look forward to welcoming you back to Docklands Private Collection of Apartments.
