Just fell over this at Federation Square. Highly recommend this. Great history of film, television and games and fun interaction with the exhibits. Really recommend this

Went when there was a section on video games so boyfriend was thrilled but otherwise some lovely old radio and telly kit, a lot on the change role of media and some great displays on movies from Oz

Good to see the regular exhibition but one needs to follow the following programmes with punctual exhibitions.

While I understand that this is a permanent exhibition and a good one I think there is a need for there to be some changes from time to time. I visit Federation Square every time I visit Melbourne but I think that he exhibits should be refreshed.

I just happened into the ACMI by mistake and found the time spent there informative and fun. Lots of info on historical moving image technology , put together in an interactive manner that seems to spur you on to the next station. Things I didn't know!
