When fed square was created it was a bit artificial but it's usefulness has overcome that. It's now a fantastic place to meet and people watch and eat and be entertained. It often has free shows and big screen link ups with big events. Dotted around the perimeter are the National Gallery of Victoria, Australian Centre for the moving image (definitely worth a visit) & lots of tasty restaurants.

Met my sister at Fed Square during the Comedy festival. It was bustling and full of life even at 9pm on a Sunday night.
Easy acess being across the road from Flinders St Station.

Strange buildings but there is quite a bit to do here that is free. We enjoyed looking through the Art Gallery and the History of Moving Images!

We went into square to catch our day coach, signage is poor, location is central. Lots of Concrete, and ok if you are coming to see an exibition.
