We totally agree with the otehr reviews. We had (turned out to be a private) tour with Paul and had a wonderful time. His knowledge of the Valley and reltaionships with the wineries we visited made the tour much better than others we have been on in the past. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed this trip to Yarra Valley with our guide Paul. We stopped at 4 different vineyards to try their wines (sparkling, white and red). For us the third stop of the day at Punt Road was the best. They had a really nice Chardonnay and an even better Viognier (white)! It's nice to see some experimenting in this region. For Europeans Australian wine is very expensive, but here we were happy to pay the price. This wine (Viognier and Shiraz) was really worth it.
Chandon was interesting to see, but the wines didn't live up to our expectations. But then I'm sure they don't serve their best for the tasting.

So glad we chose the Winebus Tour for our big day out on a long weekend stay in Melbourne - we had such an outstanding time on a sunny winter's day and enjoyed not only the vineyards chosen to taste wonderful wines and cider, but also the company of the group and the yummy lunch. Our host, Paul, looked after everyone really well and seemed to effortlessly coordinate everything from driving, sharing his knowledge of the region, to music, to answering questions etc ensuring a memorable experience for all. We brought some beautiful wines home to Tassie from a special day in the Yarra Valley!

My husband and I did this tour on Saturday and had the most wonderful time. We got to meet the other people on the one hour drive to the Yarra Valley and Paul, our driver, and guide, was funny, knowledgeable and made it a great day all round. I was initially disappointed with only getting one glass of sparkling wine (being careful not to say Champagne) at Chandon but Paul allowed us enough time to go on for our own tasting so needless to say I got to taste a range of sparkling wines. Paul was also fantastic at helping out the smaller wineries take us through our tastings when they got really busy so we never felt rushed whilst tasting and mingling with others on the tour and the staff at the winery. With a number of location pick ups in Melbourne, when booking I let them know where we were staying and they found the nearest location so we walked about 5 mins to it from our hotel, which was great at the end of the day as well. I would highly recommend this tour and I am certain you wont be disappointed.

We booked a tour based on the reviews on Trip Advisor and from recommendations from friends. Paul is an excellent tour guide and designed a great day. He even remembered taking our friends on a tour from months before. We enjoyed all the wineries. They were all just so gorgeous and had great selections. We ended up buying Champagne at Chandon and cider at another winery. I would definitely do this tour again.
