During a trip to Melbourne we came here to see a show.

Located on Spring street nice and close to Parliament train station.

This would have to be one of Melbourne’s most historic buildings, the theatre was very nice and the buildings architecture was simply beautiful.

The staff, bar and amenities were also good.

Here is my review...of the Harry Potter stage show seen on 6/2/2019

The special effects were very good but I would of liked more!
The acting in general was excellant but Harry Potter Senior seemed to shout all the time.

If you have not followed/read the Harry Potter books or seen the movies (I have) then either do a cram or DON’T go as you probably will not understand the plot, the characters or what had gone on in the past.Even the humour would be difficult to understand .
Be prepared to get a sore bum if you see parts 1 & 2 on the same day

I really enjoyed it 8 out of 10

As per usual drinks, food and souvenirs are very expensive. If you want a magnet for your fridge $12.
If you eat in the restaurant attached to the Princess Theatre you get a quick pass in by-passing the huuuge lines.

Went here for a birthday trip to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child - the theatre has been exquisitely themed for the show, I could not imagine it being any better. Thoroughly enjoyable, very easy to navigate, and helpful staff. Clean easy-access amenities. Seating was well set-out, we had a great view of the stage. Would definitely go here again!

We had tickets towards the back of the stalls. Having had stalls tickets at other theatres we weren’t worried, however the slope in this theatre is very slight, so hard to see over heads in front. I would NOT recommend stall tickets, especially for children. It was also uncomfortably hot in the theatre, and the foyer area is so small it was unpleasantly overcrowded waiting for the doors to be opened before the show began.
