If you can visit on a special occasion please do so as you may catch the magnificent organ being played or the choir warming up. We had the pleasure of visiting with U.S.A. relatives on Christmas eve and it was just beautiful! Highly recommend.

Great photo opt from a Parliament window. Explore multiple angles for your right pic. A beautiful creation.

This is magnificent structure just outside the CBD and a cornerstone to Melbourne's heritage. Easy walk from the east side of town and an on a sunny day, some wonderful photo opportunities to be had.

As soon as I walked thorugh the door, it was like stepping into a European cathedral.

This large cathedral is beautiful and a must-see for travellers to Melbourne. It's close to the free city tram so easy to get to. With ornate stained glass windows and other points of interest, I spent a peaceful half hour enjoying walking around inside this catherdral. It was only spoilt by the sudden influx of tourists (who then disapeared as quickly as they arrived).

We started walking from Bourke St. You can easily see this from that area as the towers of this cathedral are very high.
This is a very beautiful Catholic church. It is very peaceful and intimate. Both exterior and interior is such an awe to see. The fountains on the side are nice. There are benches for people to relax after the long walk going here.
