Reviewed April 16, 2013

A wonderful serene church. I spent an hour walking through this wonderful old cathedral in awe of the huge vaulted ceilings & wonderful stained glass windows.

love the architecture and the peacefulness of these cathedrals. Just to wander around the external area to admire the architecture is worth doing too.

“A huge cathedral in blue-grey stone”
Reviewed April 9, 2013

There is a very Irish feel to St Patrick's which is natural considering a lot of its early day congregation and priests came from there! Its a quiet oasis if you are touring the city and the stories of its building and previous archbishops are most interesting. Make sure to also visit the nearby Anglican Church of St Peter - there is even more history there!
