“Visit During Mass”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 23, 2013

The best way to experience the cathedral is during a Solemn Pontifical Mass, which is every Sunday at 11am. The choir is great, and the whole setting is beautiful and spiritual.

“Great choir”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 20, 2013

I often attended the 11am Sunday Mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral. The boys choir, that is accompanied by the old piped organ, is one of the best I've heard. The architecture of the church is magnificent, the interior is very Intricate and the surrounding garden is well-maintained.

“Don't expect much here”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 17, 2013

I walked up to visit several times and it was closed. Having seen wonderful churches in France I was expecting more. Very drab and uninteresting interior - where are the stain glassed windows? Garden is nice.

“A grand church”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 15, 2013

It isn't just Europe that has magnificent churches that are worth a visit even if you have no interest in religion. Definitely worth a visit to have a look.

“Cathedrals in Comparison”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 14, 2013

For Australia, probably the best. Magnificent stained glass, large with beautiful structure. Home to most state funerals because of it's deliberate restoration and maintenance Not on par with European counterparts but close to inner city and size and detail extraordinary, regardless of religious persuasion
