This museum is on the mezzanine floor of the World Trade Centre. Enter from Siddeley St . No signs until you are in the building.
Some great exhibits ,The Squizzy,Snowy bedroom duel. Russell St Bombing etc etc.
The lighting was too low for this old guy to read any of the smaller type.
Absolutely worth an hour or so,but take a torch!!.
I expect the Police have plenty of other exciting stuff hidden away in a cupboard somewhere. I would love to see it

Thank chris h

This museum is small but packed with excellent, interesting displays. Admission is free and you can make a coin donation if you wish. It may not be as interesting to an overseas visitor but if you're interested in crime and history this may not matter. We thought this museum well worth a visit.

This museum is really interesting. It is only small so doesn't take long to browse through. It is a gold coin donation, so costs virtually nothing. They have a good display about Ned Kelly and his capture. There is also a section on the Russell St bombing. There are displays about notorious criminals etc. Well worth a visit. It is upstairs in the World trade centre.

This museum is located in the World Trade Centre on the 1st floor.

Artifacts include the actual car used in the Russell St bombings, actual armour worn by The Kelly Gang complete with bullet markings, Ned Kelly's blood-stained saddle bag, artifacts from Squizzy Taylor era etc.

Displays and stories on our fallen Policemen and women, and significant identities within our police force were really interesting.

For the kids there was the opportunity to dress up as a policeman and in our case, arrest their parents! They loved it!

The kids had the opportunity to practice identification photo fits and learn through another display the complex role of a detective.

We spent approx 1 hour there and gave a Gold Coin donation.

Highly Recommend!
