We stayed at the Elizabeth St Apartments for 4 days and it was great. They were clean, new and well appointed and great value for money. They were walking distance to the CBD, Queen Victoria markets (Yum, Yum) and trams nearby. We were so impressed we are staying there again later this year. We paid about $109 for a 1 x bedder and it was located on the far side of the building adjacent to a lane way, so it was quiet (I mean you are in the CBD, so you expect noise). It had a new kitchen, modern bathroom with washer dryer, and aircon and plasma TV, all we could ask for.

I have stayed in one bedroom apartment Albert. It is an older style building and has very solid buid, quiet and apartment was spacious. We had queen bed for us and sofa bed in the living room for my two little girls. It was good and convenient because we had separate kitchen with full cooking apliences and our children were able to sleep in or watch TV. Our room had LCD TV. Location is good - it is quiet and we walked to Melbourne city about 20 minutes. 5 min in oposite direction was very nice Vietnamice precinct with good restaurants.

Our friends stayed in Wellington 2 bedroom apartment - very impresive, nearly new buiding, they had leather furniture and huge 32" LCD TV. Also price was very resonable $169 per night for full 2 bedroom apartment when Hilton next door was about $400 per night for a hotel room and also Quest $169 for studio apartment - absolut rip off .

We paid bugger all - $134 per night - and that is for full apartment for 3 of us because little one was alowed to stay for free - they allow kids to share bed for free, we did not spend a cent on breakfasts in the cafes because we cooked our breakfast and in the evening we fed kids before going out - we spent only for the desert for kids in the restaurants.

Yes very good and recomend.

My family of 3 stayed in the elizabeth st city edge, melbourne for a few days and found it very good. quite a small room, but had a separate bedroom, an everything we needed for our stay. a nice close walk to everything, trams, etc. we were able to leave our lugguge at reception on the day of checkout securely, until our shutle arrived back to the airport. would not hesitate in recommending this accommodation, and will stay here again in the future for sure

We stayed at the City Edge on Elizabeth St, a perfect location to walk to the Victoria Markets and into the city centre. No need for taxis or trams which was fantastic! The room itself was fine - a little on the small side, but very clean and efficient and whilst I wouldn't say luxuriously comfortable, it was pleasant enough to sit and put your feet up for a while! The biggest issue we had with the apartment set up was that, for whatever reason, the room only had one key and access card - this was incredibly inconvenient on the night that we had to go out for separate meals with separate groups of people and we had to make specific plans that one person would return home before the other. This did take the shine off our stay. I would stay with City Edge again, but would specify that I wanted a room with more than one access key and card!

We stayed two nights in the Wellington Apartments at 166 Wellington Parade and found them great.
Firstly you must collect your keys from 92 Albert street which is quite a walk from there to your Wellington Pde Apartments. It says on the site 450 metres from 92 Albert to Wellington but in fact it is much more. I haven't measured it but trust me with suit cases in toe I Know! When we arrived it is a building very easy to miss. It doesn't have a sign out front so we walked past it a couple of times before asking the nice lady in the coffee shop next door. The numbers 166 are on the glass entrance buy without a hanging sign easy to miss.( Just look out for the restaurant ("TWOFATINDIANS")funny name and it is right next door.) Cant miss it !
You need a swipe tag to operate the lifts and get in the front door which made this property very secure and safe. No one can get into the lift without the tag you get on your key. Again the lady in the coffee shop next door showed us that the tag is what you will need to get in. All little things you need to know with no on site reception.
The rooms are terrific!! They have large lounge /Dining and Master bedroom and a second bedroom with two singles in it. Modern Kitchen and Bathroom and everything very spacious. We were on the tenth floor and had fantastic views over the city which was a highlight for me.
Across the road is a train station and trams run out the front all the time to the city.
Be warned of the Taxi drivers here.... 95% of them are good but after coming back from a show the driver took us to Wellington Street instead of Wellington PARADE. It adds about another $7 dollars to the bill.
There are food shops galore and as before mentioned the coffee shop next door which is called Coffee etc on Wellington is very handy. They make sandwiches and hot meals. Sandwiches start at $6 and grilled $7.50. There is also a 7Eleven up the road and further on a post office and a few other coffee shop/ cake shops along the strip. You won't go hungry staying here.
The Price and the accommodation is fantastic and the location superb. The sports museum and Rod Laver Arena are within eye shot.
Anyone that would complain about this accommodation is hard to please!
Great Experience and we are planning to stay here again!!

I stayed at the Elizabeth Street apartments for two nights in a one bedroom 'apartment'. It was very small, particulalry the kitchen, living and bedroom. That said everyhting was new and modern and the bathroom was lovely. Very weird placement of power points - only found the one in the bathroom by getting down an my hands and knees. Close to Vic Markets and lots of place to eat - both for breakfast and dinner, with the tram stop outside the door. If you have an apartment that faces onto Elizabeth Street be aware that the trams go dinging past late into the night and start early in the morning. Good overall stay
