We were on the 5th floor facing Swanson Street with a good view of the statue of Robert Burke and William Wills and the 'city park square'. The City Park Square was hosting Santa Claus and the music especially from the Salvation Army Buskers was rather repetitive and lasted until 11.35 pm.
So if you're an early sleeper ask for a room not facing the city, or if you are able to acquire a room a lot higher than the 5th.
The room and large bathroom were clean comfortable and the air conditioning was good and Quiet.
The staff friendly and discreet . The Doorman were especially friendly and attentive to our needs.
The location is GREAT.
Having stayed at the Langham , Sofitel, Park Hyatt, and
The Windsor we would consider staying here again preferably on a higher floor.
We would stay there again preferably on a higher floor.
