Was a great location so close to Chinatown and where we needed to be, next time i would choose a corner suite. We didn't eat the restaurant as we ate in Chinatown each night. The bathroom was a little shabby, tiles off the wall and the shower lacked pressure but not too bad.

Stayed in for 2 nights over the Anzac Day weekend. After spending the last 8 nights in different hotels in NSW, SA and VIC this one was the most disappointing. We paid $192.00 for the first night and $215.00 for the second and it just was not worth it. The bed was uncomfortable, the shower head was terrible and didn't allow for a decent shower, the shower door was this stupid glass swinging thing that allowed water to go everywhere on the floor. At night when ever someone flushed a toilet you could here it in the walls through the pipes! The only good points were the friendly lady on the desk and the location. The hotel would be acceptable if i was only paying around $100 - $130 a night. The Mantra and the Pensione on the other side of the CBD are much better value

Checked in on Good Friday late and was left the code to get our key out of the safe as no staff on duty. We were then locked out of our room on Saturday so had to go to reception to provide our credit card as part of the check in process. No housekeeping over the weekend and minimal reception staff. Was also diapoointed that we could not get to the laundry as this was closed off for most of the weekend so couldnt do any washing. Issue with tv - no foxtel as advertsied and no sound on some channels. Wouldn't stay again which is disappointing as I think the Quest brand is really good.

Really disappointed in this hotel, particularly after reading positive reviews on Tripadvisor. There were good points, the location is good and gets even better when you work out the Trams system which is just great. The sole staff member who was on duty over the Easter weekend was also very good and tried exceptionally hard to be of assistance. The room I stayed in and the amenities and service available were less then you would get in a country motel. I would have thought Easter would have been prime time for hotels in major cities but this one virtually shut down from 6pm to 10am. I was met by a note in my room stating there was no housekeepting for 3 of the 4 days I was there. Reception was shut and gated off after 6pm and you were left to fend yourself. The room was advertised as having pay TV (with sports channels) but all there was were those channels specialising in "Ab Workout Machines". Checkout before 10am was not an option and I had to move my car from the carpark the night before and park on the street as I had to get away early. No wi fi but I was able to get a cord from reception (before 6pm!) to access the internet. I was able to google hotels nearby and would have been able to get a cheaper room rate then what I had paid for, with one of those options being a 5 star place. When I was leaving I came across two people who had left their swipe access in their room and were waiting for staff to arrive to let them back in. This type of service is not acceptable for the price you paid for the room. The location of the hotel is a good one but there are plenty of options nearby and I would suggest you take a look at these.

Room Tip: Try to get a room with a balcony

Excellent, good check in system without reception, super clean and with all the expected features, great location as well, good size room with a window to city skyline, Balcony is just right. Not in the heart of CBD but just close enough to walk around into the CBD effortlessly.

We have stayed twice in the last week at Quest and enjoyed our stay.It is close to the theaters and parking is only a minutes walk. The number of breakfast choices in the area is amazing. Also a short walk to Chinatown and countless restaurants.Worth the stay.Everything was in working order although a refit of the bathrooms is probably due.The rooms were tidy and quiet. Will be back soon.
