I spent a wonderful weekend in Melbourne and was lucky enough to stay at the Adina Grande in Queen Street. We were happy to recieve an upgrade and entered a room that was fantastic in everyway. Spotlessly clean, trendy and very confortable bedding and lounges.
The staff on the front desk very very helpful and the candles in the modern foyer at night time made all the difference. We were really happy with its location as well, right in the centre close to all the little cafes and the Ethiah Stadium.
I really would, and already have, recommended it to anybody going down there.

Room Tip: Personally I would pay that little extra and get a Penthouse room. Great views and have balconies.

Dear Sandro C,

The Team and I were most pleased to read that your weekend away was an enjoyable one spent at Adina Melbourne. In particular we thank you for commenting on the candles in the lobby at night time, it does bring a special touch when returning to your new home after a long day.

My recent stay at Adina Apartments exceeded my expectations. Rooms were spacious and clean. Location is great and close CBD. Queen St Rescue restaurant at foyer level was an added bonus, great coffee and food. Will definitely re-book for my next Melb holiday.

A group of us stayed at the Adina apartments and the consensus was the same; although the rooms were modern, spacious and ideally located, we all went mad trying to get the heating right in the rooms. During the night, the heating would wildly fluctuate causing us to swelter for an hour and then freeze for the next.
I should point out the the cafe/bar (Queen Street Rescue) attached to the hotel is really good !

Room Tip: I stayed in room 69 on level 11. Given the heating was crap, I wouldn't recommend this room.

We stayed here because of its price and location - cheapest on the net for its location. Their 2 Bedroom Apartment was massive. We have 3 boys and there was heaps of room, 2 bathrooms, 3 tele's, dining, lounge and kitchen. The apartment was finished very nicely with modern and new décor. The furnishings were also top notch We were very pleased. The location was perfect for those wishing to be close to the city CBD. Its only a 5 minute walk to Flinders Street station and only 1 minute to the nearest tram stop to access Vic Markets, The Museum and the MCG. The gym and heated pool were great along with the sauna - the kids liked these. The restaurant below was fantastic too and they can deliver to your room and have the cost added to your room charge. Awesome when the kids are spent and you do not wish to go out for dinner.

I have stayed at the Adina many times now since 1999 and when it was under differently branding/ownership but it has/is slowly sliding out of being a location that I will revisit.

Overall the statement 'getting tired' seems the best which is a shame as the location and a large percentage of the premises is great, just that final polish and service is lacking.

Both that final polish and the service is all down to management & staff who just don't seem to be in the game any more and who feel that they don't have to meet a standard to a paying guest.

Whether it is contact with Housekeeping, Wi Fi connections (especially at the high price they charge) or interaction at Reception it just wasn't a pleasant experience ....

Room Tip: I had a room (17th Floor) facing Queens Street - very noisy.
