“Perfect location and spacious apartment”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 17, 2013

We stayed here for 4 nights mid August 2013 in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment on the 8th floor. We had a balcony with views towards yarra river, fed square and partial views of Rod Laver Arena. Apartment was in perfect location as the main part of our trip was attending the Pink Concert at Rod Laver and it was an easy 5-10min walk there and back and we felt perfectly safe. Apartment was clean, big and comfortable. Free circle tram stop out front and an IGA convenience store next door made it even better.

Room Tip: Balcony facing Flinders Street will give you nice views at night time

Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. Check in time is advertised as 2:00pm but at 3:00pm our room was still not ready and we were put into another apartment. We were offered a free bottle of wine by way of apology, but when I said that we didn't drink wine, were not offered an alternative. The apartment had not been cleaned properly and there was a drink bottle still under the sofa from a previous guest. Carpet had not been vacuumed and window ledges looked as though they had not been cleaned for some time. Apartment overlooks the tram and train lines and the noise kept us awake. Air conditioning kept turning itself off which made the apartment cold ... not much fun on a cold winter's night. There was only a thin doona on the bed and no spare blankets. Location was great for an event at Rod Laver Arena which was the purpose of our visit, but there are plenty of alternatives. I would choose one of the many other options in the future.

Our girls weekend in July was spent in Melbourne and we thought we'd give Adina Apartments (2-bedrooms) a try - we were not disappointed!

The major benefit of staying here is definitely the location. We were an easy 8-10 min walk to the Mall, 2 blocks to our fav pub (Young & Jackson), across the street is the free tram (or any of the others) which took us close to the DFO for shopping or the Markets. Then a 5 minute walk got us to Rod Laver Arena. Very convenient.

The apartment was well set out and very spacious - great for four girls! Cleanliness could've been a little better - the towels looked like they'd been thrown on the rails, dirty marks in basin and on walls in bathroom and some of the cutlery and cups were a little worse for wear (which i cleaned before using), but otherwise the room was just what we needed. Big balcony, enough couch space for four of us and mostly quiet (being in the CBD!).

The service was really good and all staff were helpful.

* There will be 6 of us coming back to this hotel in December staying in the 3-bedroom penthouse - so we are hoping it's of the same standard - hopefully even a little better!!

We stayed in a front, corner 1 bedroom premier apartment in July 2013 on a high level floor overlooking Flinders street. The view is nothing short of fantastic. A friend came up to the room during our visit and all he kept saying was "WOW" for both the room and the view. He's staying here next time he visits !!!!!!!!

One block down from Federation square, two blocks down from Flinders Street train station and a tram stop right outside the door, the location is great.

We had a 3 bedroom apartment with 2 bedrooms locked off, so consequently the apartment was well supplied with crockery, cutlery. pots and pans and the like. The apartment is a great size with 2 large 3 seater lounges that are very comfortable. The view down Flinders street when sitting on the couch at night is magical.

The kitchen is good size with oven, hotplate, microwave, dishwasher, pull out pantry and large fridge. Lots of cupboard space.

The bathroom is not overly big, but does have a washing machine and laundry trough in a cupboard. The only downside in the bathroom is the shower is over the bath and you have to climb into the bath for a shower, it would be difficult for the elderly or disabled.

Plenty of cupboard space in both the bedroom and the apartment. The bedroom is a good size with a queen size bed.

Dining table, 4 chairs and a desk with internet access for a fee.

The train lines are below, you can hear the trains, but they didn't bother us.

IGA Express next door, but we only used for emergency milk as they are expensive, 2 blocks down there is Coles Central with all you need at half the price.

All you need for a fantastic time in Melbourne is in this room.

Staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient and look like they enjoy their work.

Every time we visit Melbourne we will definitely stay here (hopefully in the same room) and have already recommended it to family and friends.

Thanks Adina :-)

Apartments are great size, locality is fantastic for a city break, Rod Laver - everything really. Couple of cases close by and an IGA at the entrance, very handy. I had an apartment overlooking Flinders St , night lights were great.

Room Tip: I think if you are on a higher floor it is quieter. I was on the 10th floor and it was fine.

We had 5 adults staying in our 2 bedroom apartment. Plenty of room for us all to fit in and not be too squashed in. A really good sized apartment.

Lots of space and plenty of room in each bedroom. A single bed fitted neatly into the living room for the 5th person, with plenty of space to walk around. The kitchen was a good size and there was also a dining table. Both bathrooms were a good size.

The location of the hotel was close to the CBD and within walking distance to everything. The City Circle free tram stopped outside the building. There is a 7/11 store next door but the prices were expensive. Best to walk to the Coles supermarket down the road to get some cheaper groceries.

We loved the apartment and were very pleased with all the facilities and the view.

Thank you Adina for giving us a balcony with a great view as we hoped we might get. The staff were really helpful and friendly too. We would definately stay here again on our next trip. Thank you Adina for making our 3 night stay in Melbourne a perfect vacation for our family.

One negative point to mention - the toilets in the ground floor area were really messy around mid afternoon. There was a conference on at one of the meeting rooms so I guess that is why but it would be a good idea to have a cleaner on hand to tidy up periodically to save guests seeing such a mess.

Room Tip: Our room at the front of the building on the 8th floor had a lovely view. It was a corner room.
