“Always Entertaining”

Great day out anytime of the year but especially on a winters day. The displays are always changing so there is something new to see each visit.

“An asset to the city”

I like the variety of travelling exhibitions such as Titanic and Pompie. It is people and child friendly and a world away from the old concept of a museum.Love it

“Loads of fun”
Reviewed February 15, 2013

A few of the galleries were closed on our visit, as was the IMAX, which was disappointing. However, there is still loads to see, including dinosaurs and a huge collection of gems and rocks, including bits of Mars and a rock with crystals over 4 billion years old. Use your student ID if you have one to get free admission!

“Worth a visit”
Reviewed February 14, 2013

One of the best museums I have seen in Australia. Informative and interesting. Great layout to get around in. Packed full of schoolkids was my only complaint - very noisy - but on the other hand, museums are a great place for kids to learn and I would hate them to ever feel inhibited in places like this.
