We have stayed at the Bayview twice now. Whilst it is a little dated, it is quite comfortable. The rooms was a good size, as was the bathroom. No problems with the bed either. The room rate was good (much cheaper than a CBD hotel). We booked via olotels. On our previous visit we booked directly with the hotel (and paid more) and got a better room on a higher floor, but for staying one night we were happy with a slightly lower quality room this time around. Underground parking is available at a reasonable price. We left the car at the hotel and took a short tram ride to Southbank for dinner. The hotel has a restaurant which is open for breakfast and dinner. Although we didn't use it for either, it seemed well patronised. Staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended as a comfortable place to stay within easy reach of the CBD.
