Having never been to Melbourne, found Darling Towers on internet. Average rate over our 7 night stay was only $200 for three adults. Walking distance to shopping, trams restaurants, MCG, Federation Square. We were able to access our room by 1.00 pm and were treated to an upgrade to a pleasantly spacious two bedroom apartment with balcony. Staff were courteous and we had no problems during our stay. Rooms were very clean, beds comfortable and apartment quiet at night. Monitored security welcome.
