We knew we would be spending limited time in our hotel so we wanted something cost effective. This hotel is in the best location - walk right outside your door to all the shops and cafes. The hotel however is a different story. Our room was so tiny it was ridiculous. It was very clean though. The walls were paper thin and when our neighbour came home at 2am it sounded like they were showering in the room with us. We're not that old but there were a lot of young people coming home at all hours - some boys couldn't find their room and were trying their card in all the doors. It was quite hilarious but this seemed to be the type of hotel it was - cheap and cheerful! Not really for us.

Thank you sincerely for your feedback from your stay with us back in January this year.
We are very pleased you found the location of the hotel ideal for your Melbourne visit and agree that you could not be better positioned in the middle of the city.
Apologies that you encountered some noise during what was a very busy period in Melbourne!

You are never too old and we look forward to welcoming you back soon!

Kind regards,
John Dickson
General Manager

Very good location for exploring CBD and beyond. Helpful front desk. Good value from what we compared. Nice to have the mini refrigerator and coffee/tea water jug plus the daily "gum nut" biscuits provided. Had dinner in the bar/restaurant one night- lots of good options

I stayed at this hotel recently, and although in a great central location, the hotel itself is tired and is in need of a long overdue renovation, staff were polite and attentive, but hotel itself very average
