We are so lucky to have Victoria Market in Melbourne, with fresh produce, varied delis, seafood vendors and butchers. Check out the polish deli for great frankfurts, salamis, liverwurst and sausages. Their frankfurts are the best in town. The french cheese shop has a huge range of yummy french cheeses. Fresh Warrnambool butter is avaiable from Curds & Whey.
Have coffee at the trolley rental and cafe where they roast their own coffee beans, plus sell well know brands like St Ali, etc.

The markets are divided into sections - the deli / takeaway food section, fresh produce and general merchandise. There are great little eateries and cafes. It's a must do when in Melbourne, so don't miss it. You can walk or talk the local transport as it is easy to find. Have fun!

The Suzuki Night Market is awesome! There are so many aisles of different foods that it was hard to choose what to have. We had only a small selection of what was on offer - Spanish Paella, Italian Meatballs, Lamb and Spinach Crepe, Afghan Lamb Kebabs, American Ribs, Pancakes, Honey Dumplings and Cannoli. Plenty of seating and tables but arrive early - we got there at 5.30pm and we had to walk around and around before we were able to grab a table. Market starts at 5pm but I'd get there earlier for a table. By the time we had eaten and looked through the market you couldn't get near the food let alone get a table!

I've seen a lot of markets all over, but this one is huge! There is a wide array of foods and goods available, from lemons, cherries and lettuce to hats, scarves and t-shirts. There is truly something for everyone here, so bring your money and your shopping bag!

These markets where awesome. We don't have anything to compare to back home. Definitely worth a look if you don't have any decent markets near you.
