So much to see and not enough time. There was the gaol, the watch house and a court room experience well worth the money if we had to pay. This attraction has a reciprocal arrangement with the National Trust in the Uk so on showing my card we got in for nothing. There's plenty to see the guides in the gaol are very informative but the staring role ins the Sergeant in the watch house - this is a man who enjoys his role - no more can be said otherwise it will spoil the visit for others.

Good prison tour with an excellent guide (sergeant R Finch) who locked us up and was really informative and observant in marshmallows. Good spaces to wander and explore. Then excellent Ned Kelly trial reenactment experience. A must do for visitors.

Loved the watch house experience, I would recommend it to all $25per person well spent. The information you get from the people who work there is priceless so ask questions.

Others who had been highly recommended we visit the gaol, really glad we did. Very interesting to see what the conditions were like. The 'lock up' experience was a lot of fun. Spent a couple of hours here easily. Lots of reading, some audio tours could make it a bit better.
