We were blown away with this place. A friend of mine said argh its not much, how wrong was she!! Loved it! The fish were huge and you could see everything. The most amazing thing for us was watching the penguins!! The were so cute and funny. We watched them for a long time.
My only gripe was waiting over 20 minutes in the café for a coffee(no one else being served) after I had ordered. The staff were oblivious to me waiting, they didn't seem to care. Yes I would go again but skip the coffee, there's lots of cafes in Melbourne.

We're regular travellers from WA to Melbourne, usually for the footy, shopping, wining and dining, but we decided to make a family trip at Easter and brought all the kids along. We thought we would do the "kid" stuff... and really didn't expect to enjoy it ourselves as much as they did. It was fantastic. Very busy (Good Friday) with a long queue at the start, but it moved very quickly. I think that would have been peak time, and it wasn't a problem, there were so many floors and we just loved all of it. Great family outing, and even if you don't have kids with you, it's worth a visit.

I was expecting more than what was offered at this aquarium. Not many exhibits. I did the entire building in a half hour.

Thanks very much for your feedback we appreciate all comments and take them seriously. We are very sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your visit and surprised that your time with us was so short as most of our guests tell us that they spend around 2 hours enjoying the attraction. Sorry this was not your experience.

Fantastic adult food for even the health conscious. Great views of the river and coral room. Close enough to walk in between the entree, main and desert and kept our 2 year old entertained. Waiters were nice but could have been more proactive. Can't think of a better way to spend mother's day lunch. Price was reasonable and included entry into the aquarium.

Timing was perfect as after the end of it, we enjoyed the aquarium and it was not as busy.

Would be nice to have an usher in front to get through the massive queue. Kept getting dirty looks from people when we were just trying to get in as it was absolutely packed.

Would also be nice to have a designated person stopping the random people walking through helping themselves to the drinks tables, walking around us and just sitting around the private area even through there was a barricade.
