“Not value for money”
Reviewed June 5, 2013

Granted there is construction taking place, but with the entry fee unchanged you assume the experience would last more than 30 mins.

A fairly plain experience throughout, old and worn exhibits. Apart from the sharks and penguins the rest are no better than visiting your local pet store.

I advise all to save your money and visit later in the year if the renovations are what yet are claiming. Spend your money on a visit to the zoo instead..

A great Family day out for all ages. So much to see and a lot to learn along the way.
My favourite is the Penguins. So cute.

“Poor Nemo!”
Reviewed June 3, 2013

I was expecting a lot more, but by the end of the tour..we left feeling disapointed and sorry for the creatures living there. The aquarium is due to complete it renovations by September 2013, I think its much needed considering the time it took to walk through boarded up hallways and "a construction site". It all added to an almost glum atmosphere. We managed to see one scheduled feeding time (the penguins), however disapointed to see that you have to pay extra in order to hear the keeper to do a talk, otherwise you stand there watching a private tour behind sound proof glass.

“Good, bit pricey for sure”
Reviewed June 2, 2013

Overall worth visiting, however, right at the minute many of the exhibits are closed for refurbishment, It would make sense to then reduce the admission fee. The oceanarium and penguins are fantastic. The redo of the premises is timely.
