We enjoyed a pleasant dinner for 4 at the Meat Market. The food was tasty and plentiful and the staff were excellent. The menu was a bit limited as some of the starters been taken off the menu to be replaced with several seafood specials, and as one of our group wasn't as seafood eater limited his options to 2 starters. The fish specials for main course sounded good but were to share so that limited us again. We all ended up having steak for main course. My husbands steak had grissle in the centre so he wasn't able to finish it. He didn't want to complain as we were guests of the couple we dined with and he didn't want to seem ungracious. The wines were good as were the deserts. I think it was a bit highly priced for the standard of food. With so much quality on offer in Melbourne I probably wouldn't go back to the Meat Market.
