Description: Roule Galette is a little piece of France in the city where you will find French staff, speaking the language of Voltaire who will serve you in a warm and intimate setting reminiscent of Montmartre in Paris. Music, whether Breton or French songs of the last century or more modern times will accompany your meal along with authentic Cider from the Pays d'Auge in Normandie, or Cotes du Rhone or Burgundy wines. Not to forget the inimitable Orangina.

I've really enjoyed my dinner in this small restaurant in one of the melbourne lanes.
It's pretty small, staff is friendly and the galette I had was delicious!
I'd recommend it without hesitation.

“Bit disappointing”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 1, 2011

This place would probably be OK if you stick to the dessert pancakes. The savoury ones are a bit pedestrian. The St Jacques was not very good, clearly using frozen scallops, and the pancake was a bit heavy, doughy. The leek filling was a bit unpleasant and uninspiring. My observation of people nearby eating sweet pancakes was that they seemed to have fared a little better. This is a very tiny place, with a couple of two seat tables outside, and only a few places inside. I guess you have to be in the mood for this. Moral of this story- try this for dessert but don't bother with the non sweet ones.
