Plain but effective stay and a wannabe funky Melbourne apartment / hotel. The apartments are simple, plain, functional , effective, adequate. It seems to be a converted ex office building. The apartments re a bit plain. Adequate but plain. They charge $6 for a bottle of water. petrol is only a third of that! If you order a cab through reception - they suggest you wait out front - not good when raining. [The (two!!) fire alarms were a bit unnecessary - 4am and 6am] - in fact they were extremely unwelcome. The service was great - the front desk is great. It is located very conveniently with a tram stop right out front.
