The studio 'apartment' I stayed in was 'cosy' to say the least.
The 'kitchen' was wardrobe sized and the balcony barely big enough to stand on.
Having said that, it all worked. The kitchen had all the necessities including a full sized fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher.
The room was clean, new and spotless. Decor was not to my taste, but interesting. Silver padded bead head? hmmmm.
Room was 'spot cleaned' - bed made, toiletries and kitchen supplies replenished, towels changed bins emptied. All good. Sometimes it happened after 4 pm - a bit annoying to get back after work and find the bed not yet made.
Staff always very pleasant and helpful. I'm sure if I had complained, the room would have been made up earlier.
Bed was comfortable enough, but a nice mattress topper would have made it less obvious that we were sleeping on twins zipped together.
Location isn't too bad. It's a 10 minute tram ride to the centre of the city, St Kilda or Sth Yarra. Nice short walk to Albert Park Lake.
The only serious annoyance was the noise from the bar downstairs bouncing off the building and making sleeping with the window and door open impossible.
Generally a positive experience at a very economical price.More
