“Great value for money”

Great value for money. Pillows were uncomfortable and the bed was 2 singles put together which meant there was a dip in the middle of the bed, however, lovely service and would definitely stay here again.

We were a couple staying in the lush suite which we had booked for one night well in advance. We had a room on level 2 and that was just the beginning of our worries. Not only were we stuck with a room facing a carpark, but it was also directly above the automatic roller gates into the carpark. At first, we didn't think the sound was that bothersome but when there were cars coming in and out at all times of the night and early morning, it was a perpetual grinding that awoke us each time. We weren't the only patrons who found this to be a problem. When we were checking out, there was another couple on the same level of us who asked to get a room change because of the same issue.

Other than that, the hotel was between good to average. Clean and included all the basic appliances, items you'd find in a hotel. One more thing we would warn other people about when deciding to select this hotel is the bare concrete ceiling that you can't see in the pictures. According to the notice left in the room, no sealant or paint was used because it is 'energy efficient'. All the same, it is a little off-putting and does take away from the aesthetics from the room. Reminds me of unfinished building...

Room Tip: Rooms on the east side have best view Not for light sleepers, especially if on level 2

Our recent 10 night stay at Mint Rhapsody Melbourne was made extra special by the friendly and professional service received from Office Supervisor, Jo and receptionist Bec. Always happy to help Jo and Bec stood out for their friendly smiles, efficiency and great people skills.

The hotel is new and the decor is refreshingly different from all the "minimalist white/beige" that's everywhere these days. So comfortable... from beds and linen to bathrooms and private balconies. The apartments are serviced daily and have limited kitchen facilities and full size fridge so it's great not to have to eat out every meal.

All this, plus an ideal location on St Kilda Road with Albert Park Lake right behind the property and a major tram stop just a couple of minutes walk from the front. It's just minutes by tram to Prahan Market and Chapel St and has easy access to both the City and St Kilda.

This would be our first choice for accommodation whenever we visit Melbourne. Thanks so much for a great stay! Steve and Libby.

I booked this hotel last minute and got a studio room for $119. You had the option of either a free upgrade, or half price parking and a late (1pm) checkout.

The room was immaculate. Beautiful furnishings, clean, comfortable bed and bedding. Bathroom is nice...shower a little small, and no bath, but water pressure was fantastic. Toiletries provided were of nice quality. I forgot my toothbrush...phoned reception and they had a complimentary toothbrush and paste delivered to the room within 5 minutes.
The room has a kitchenette - fridge, 2 hot plates, microwave, small dishwasher, kettle, toaster and plenty of utensils.
There was also a balcony with table/chairs.
The location is great. Plenty of trams to get you into the city within 10-15 mins, also trams to St Kilda.

Reception staff were pleasant and helpful. Being from NSW we needed a lesson on tram use and the girls were very patient and helpful with their explanations!

I really liked this hotel and would definitely stay here again. It is great for a couple of nights getaway, or if you had to stay for an extended time.

We stayed for 2 nights my partner and I at the Hotel, it is clean and comfortable and is in a handy location. Good internet speed and good space for work station.
The paintings are a little odd and unfortunately our room did not get serviced which wasn't great but the staff did knock on the door to check if all was OK and if our room had been serviced so there must have been something a miss. All in all a pleasant experience reasonably priced and friendly staff I will go back

We stayed in a studio apartment, had a lovely little dishwasher and amenities for cooking if you felt so inclined. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Once you find the car park out the back of the building it is very easy to come and go as you please and very affordable considering Melbourne CBD car parking prices. View wasn't great as it was to the building next door but we didn't specify for a view so not their fault. Room could have been a bit cleaner, mainly a stain on the doona cover and come dark scuffs on the top of the sheets. Didn't ask for this to be rectified so again, can't say anything bad about the staff. Over all a great place to stay, would definitely stay again and recommend.

I stayed at these apartments for a week on business. At first the room appeared to be nice, but the microwave was missing and the airconditioner did not work at all. I was not informed of this when checking in and this fact annoyed me more than anything.

The bed was nice, but the ceiling.....pretty ghastly. The overall staff service was average which was better than the bar/restraunt that shares the same address.
