Down a classic Melbourne little street nestled amongst other cafes sits Olio Cucina.

We were in a bit of a rush and the staff responded with quick and efficient service.

The coffee was very good, the bacon and eggs were tasty and the atmosphere relaxed and friendly. The silent movies playing on the wall is a great touch.

This restaurant, located off a back street near the Block Arcade is quaint and quite good. We particularly enjoyed the risotto, but the entire meal was good. We enjoyed our food while watching a silent Charlie Chaplin film, which they have playing on one of the walls.

Absolutely warm place. Service is perfect and good food keeps u going. I m going to this place back in the days it was cafe cortile but still they are doing excellent job as always. Coffee is equally good. Miss few old staff working there specially Cristina and chef Brady .........guys keep up the good work and pump up the sales with excellent service and sumptuous food. Cheers

Set in one of Melbourne's iconic lanes, Olio offered quailty all the way. Even on a wintry day, the atmosphere, service, coffee and food were all excellent. Our egg orders (Benedict and Florentine) were both cooked to perfection and my caesar salad had perfect balance - very soft egg as requested and only lightly dressed. The only downer was the cigarette smoke waft from the table next door - smoking should be banned in the lanes. Otherwise, just lovely!

What a find,
this place is a great little restauraunt tucked away in one of Melbournes famous lanes.
The food is great and the service just as good. We found the staff all very friendly and more than happy to chat!. We visited Olio for Breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed it.
The smashed Avo on sourdough is something to behold!!! the coffee....well one of the best ive had!

The decor is wonderful and set out in a very trendy way, yet it still keeps the traditional Italian feel.

I would certainly recommend Olio.
