This apartment is located a bit away from the CBD and 15 minutes walk to Flinders station and Federation square. Most of the shopping malls are about 20 minutes walk from the apartment and the Crown casino is right behind. Reception functions during restricted hours so if you are checking in late or early do write to them and find out how you get in. There is a convenience store and bottle shop right next to the apartment. The apartment is over furnished and the living area is cramped. One can hardly move around the dining area. There is dust everywhere and needs to be cleaned. I find this strange as this apartment comes at A$325 a night for a two bed. The blinds in the bedrooms let in a lot of light even when closed and if you are the kind who sleeps in total darkness, you will be restless. There is no safety locker. My telephone did not work and when I complained nothing was done about it. The reception is a few buildings away and there is a Concierge in this building and almost all the people at the Concierge were absolutely grumpy. Wifi is not free. It costs A$10 a day. Parking is A$19 a night. I stayed at the 28th floor but the views were unremarkable. Smoke drifted into my apartment through the Balcony whenever the neighbours cooked.
South Bank One is a let down.
