Nice atmosphere and great food. I particularly loved the artichaud barrigoule entree, while my husband's favourite was the pork belly main course. Will definitely return.

“Fantastic French Food”
Reviewed May 19, 2012

Absolutely incredible experience, from the minute me and my daughter walked through the door we were 100% looked after with to die for food and wonderful service. Our meals were cooked to absolute perfection and were a complete taste sensation! We also enjoyed an amazing entree and unbeatable wine. A+ to the French brasserie! We will be back.

“Friendly service and wonderful food”
Reviewed May 16, 2012

A group of friends enjoy regular lunches in the city, and every now and then a restaurant stands out from others at which we have eaten!
Yesterday four of us had a lovely day at The French Brasserie. Although we were not in a hurry, we ordered from the Express Menu ($35 for two courses and a glass of wine, plus an additional $10 for a pick of the dessert selection). The two French waitresses were lovely - chatty and offering good advice on food and drink selections. The food was beautifully presented. I had Poulpe (octopus) for my starter and it was tender and fresh in a crisp salad. For main course, we all enjoyed the Boullabaise which was generous in it's serving and in the amount and variety of seafood.
We were last to leave and at no time did we feel we had to go - the host even offered us a complimentary 'sparkling sticky' at the end of our lovely lunch.
Highly recommend this restaurant for it's food, service and ambience.

“Highlight of our trip”
Reviewed April 29, 2012

Had walked past this on a couple of occasions and decided that we would make time to go as we knew we would need time to do it justice. Food was delicious, and savoured every mouthful. We were recommended a pinot which we had been looking to try for a while, as had been recommended by Jeremy Oliver - Lovely
Staff were very knowledgable and friendly, and overall atmposhere is stylish and elegant.
Fairly expensive, but worth every cent.
