“A wonderful day to remember”

We also had the pleasure of Paul being our guide, it was just my husband and I,and what a wonderful day we had, we can't stop telling everyone what a wonderful experience we had on our tour on the Mornington Peninsular. The variety of vineyards Paul took us too really showed what the region has to offer, wonderful wine, food and we can't forget about the chocolate's to end the day. Paul will see you again soon to do the Yarra Valley. Cheers Jacque and Michael Curtis

“Virtuoso Vinetrekker”
Reviewed June 20, 2013

Twice now we have had the pleasure of a Paul Robinson led saunter through a well chosen selection of Yarra Valley wineries. Both occasions were great fun. Paul is an unobtrusive but convivial and knowledgeable guide and from the reception we experienced at vineyards at Coldstream Hills, Domaine Chandon and Yerring Station (an outstanding lunch stop) he is clearly highly respected in the wine producing community. His introduction of the more intimate Warramate vineyard to our itinerary was a further treat. More importantly he facilitates a relaxed and comfortable ambiance for his guests which for us led to a cosmopolitan range of exchanges about almost everything under the (very pleasant) sun! Unanimous view of extended group of family friends and sweethearts that this was an unforgetable experience.

Lovely to hear from you Dave & Kate and thanks so much for your kind review. It's been an absolute pleasure meeting you both on your first tour to the Yarra Valley and then to meet up again with the extended family earlier in the year was a treat. There's a terrific bond between you all and to be part of that for a day and help contribute to a memorable experience is immensely satisfying. I trust you've had some luck tracking down some wine from the Yarra Valley and are doing your bit to promote the region ! All the best and I trust you're back here before too long and we can show off the Mornington Peninsula or Macedon Ranges.

“Sets The Benchmark for Day Tours”
Reviewed June 18, 2013

I had the pleasure of joining Paul and one other couple on a day tour of Mornington Peninsular wineries on 15th June 2013. We also stopped at a lovely cheesery and also Mornington Peninsular Chocolates to make sure our taste buds had a well rounded day. :-)

The tour was superb and one of the best day tours I have been on over 30 years of travelling all around the world.

Paul was a charming, knowledgeable host who obviously also has a warm and professional relationship with the wineries and the other tourist operators we met.

We visit three top notch wineries and also had a superb lunch at Salix restaurant at Willow Creek vineyard and Paul made a wonderful wine recommendation to compliment my lamb selection. This wine wasn't even on the official wine list but in their private stock.

Overall the day was as good as being with friends in our own private vehicle. I can't recommend Paul more highly and I will be booking their Yarra Valley tour with Paul the next time I am in Melbourne.

Thanks Geoff for the review of your recent tour to the Mornington Peninsula. It was a pleasure to have you travel with us and I'm delighted you enjoyed the itinerary we provided. I feel it strikes a pretty good balance and offers something for everyone. I must complement you on what you bought to the day and how comfortable the other passengers were in your company. I trust you've started to enjoy some of the wines you purchased and look forward to showing you the Yarra Valley on your next visit to Melbourne. All the best and thanks again.

“Great conversations with fellow tour members”
Reviewed June 17, 2013

We booked the wild life + winery tour with Paul in April (family of 5 adults + 1 toddler). Weather was lovely then. We enjoyed the tour very much as it was very well organized and Paul allowed the tour members to mingle during lunch. We had wonderful conversations during lunch about football clubs, politics and the economy while enjoying the scenie view at Yering station. Paul didn't rush us at all, instead he joined our chat and shared his view too. On our way back to the city, Paul didn't end the trip just there by going straight to the toll way. He surprised us with some wild kangaroos passing the road and showed us the neighbourhood of eastern Melbourne suburbs. We received a lovely gift from Paul at the end of the tour, what a great day to remember!
